What is formal writing?
Formal writing is a way of writing your report using professional words. You need to avoid slang terms, use correct punctuation and use language features appropriately.
What does it look like?
An example report is provided here but your report will look more like the example paragraphs we have been studying in class.

How can I improve my writing to get these credits?
A) Eliminate slang from your writing
B) Re-checking your work for accurate punctuation and spelling
C) Work towards extending your vocabulary so that you can present clear points of view
D) Ensure you use paragraphs and order your ideas clearly in each
E) Use lots of descriptive words in your writing to make it interesting to the reader
F) Learn language features, especially those appropriate for report writing and use them in your report
